History

Varvara had always been close with her brother, she looked up to him as a role model as they were growing up. While Vara would never want to live far out in the wilderness like Samuil and his wife did, she always enjoyed making the trip to go and see them.

Vara had planned to leave Thua Don and move to a larger city to practice law, but decided to stay so Tera would be able to continue to grow up in the same town. Vara found her skills and knowledge were of great use, and she lead Thua Don’s council to become more proactive in helping and advancing their community.

After Samuil and Teodora’s deaths, Vara, in her grief, blamed Nev for the accident. Nev tried to return later and mend their relationship, but was rejected.

Personality

Varvara can be brash and uncompromising, but she’s also extremely meticulous and will often be lost in her work. She never planned on having children, but she loves her neice, Tera, more than anything. She loves and loathes with equal passion. Vara never does anything halfway, and that drive lead her to be the head of the council in Thua Don. She can sometimes be too analytical when it comes to relationships, and that can be off-putting.

Trivia

  • Vara feels guilty about it, but at some point she did start thinking of Teraat as her daughter. She has never admitted this though, as it feels like she’s stealing from her brother.
