History
Samuil is the father of Tera and her elder sibling. He was a leatherworker as well as an accomplished jeweler. He enjoyed making all things small, intricate, and elegant. For his community, he was known as someone you could talk to about anything, and receive honest, but not rude, advice. The children of the town adored him for his skill with creating toys.
He was also accidentally known as quite the fashion designer. His outdoor wear, both being good looking and high quality, was a must have for anyone in town, and new designs were always something to look forward to. As such, he was often gifted leather and precious stones to use in his work, because his were simply the best hands for them to be in. That being said, he still did prefer the materials his wife brought to him.
Samuil died on Nev’s 16th birthday, a ‘coming of age’ milestone. He, his wife, and Nev went out on a grand hunt. Nev unknowingly chose a more difficult prey than any of them were prepared for, and in defense of their child, both Samuil and his wife died.
Personality
A man of few words, Samuil liked to show his affection with gifts. He made all the wife’s outdoors wear, along with many other trinkets and gifts, some magically infused, some just trinkets for good luck. He was friendly, but quiet, and well loved by his community. It was said if you were lucky enough to hear his hearty chortle, you’d have good fortune the rest of the day.
Trivia
- Samuil transitioned some time after Nev was born.
